๐ŸŒŠ The Deep Dive

Hey Jackie! I'm so excited to be chatting with you today. Tell us about yourself and your background.

Iโ€™m a former recruiter and current HR professional with a combined 7+ years experience across both fields. I also am a Career Content Creator on Tiktok, and have been posting career advice since 2020.

Since then, Iโ€™ve gained almost 200k followers! I love the community Iโ€™ve built and truly have a passion for people.

What services do you offer on Dayslice and how did you get started?

I offer resume services to help jobseekers in their journey. A good, optimized resume is the first key step to getting interviews, so itโ€™s important your resume is receptive to applicant tracking systems.

I originally first started posting content in 2020 (as a joke), but quickly learned that career advice - and all the important lessons with job searching as a new grad - arenโ€™t taught in school, and are typically โ€œlearnedโ€ from mistakes.

My goal is to shed light and empower jobseekers during their journey instead of doubting their worth.

I love that mission of empowerment! The job search can be challenging for anyone, regardless of seniority, so it's a powerful message to re-iterate.

People can often find it challenging to get their first paying customers. How did you get your first few?

I have an established following, and have built credibility and authentic trust with my followers and community.

If you could book an hour with anyone (dead or alive!) on Dayslice, who would it be and for what service?

Oh man... these questions always stump me because I feel like I have to come up with someone profound or life-changing! But if Iโ€™m being honest, I would love to have lunch with Brenรฉ Brown and discuss how I can be a better leader in the workplace.

I love Brenรฉ Brown and her messages around vulnerability! She would be a great leader to chat with. Any parting wisdom for your fellow Dayslicers?

Donโ€™t be afraid to invest in yourself, even if that means paying someone else to help you. If the service makes sense and you feel itโ€™ll progress you forward in your journey (whatever that looks like), then I say go for it!

Thanks so much Jackie for taking the time to chat and sharing your thoughtful advice!
